Deal with Port of Coeymans
Cargo specialist Mammoet has signed an agreement with Port of Coeymans Marine Terminal, expanding its presence in the U.S. as it focuses on offshore wind opportunities.
The deal will give Mammoet access to the port’s 400-acre marine terminal facility on the Hudson River, 100 miles north of New York City. Mammoet will offer storage, load in and load out, local barge supply, and assistance with offshore wind projects.
“The State of New York is ramping up for upcoming offshore wind projects in the area and is investing in upgrades to the Port of Coeymans’ facilities and infrastructure. Such projects will require offshore wind components to be manufactured and transported,” a spokesperson for Mammoet said.
Headquartered in Schiedam in the Netherlands, Mammoet provides a range of services from transportation and logistics planning to heavy lift and crane rental.
