Dubai-based feeder carrier Marsa Ocean Shipping has acquired two new container vessels, boosting the total number of ships in its fleet to six.

The new vessels, Marsa Ivy and Marsa Virgo, boast capacities of 1,200 TEUs and 1,100 TEUs, respectively. The expanded fleet will enable the company to strengthen its operational capacity across the Red Sea, Asia and the Mediterranean.

“This strategic expansion enhances our ability to provide reliable, flexible, and efficient shipping solutions to our valued customers,” the company told Breakbulk.

According to its website, Marsa Ocean Shipping, launched in mid-2022, offers shipping and related logistics services throughout the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

The company has also recently launched an airfreight service, Marsa Express. The new venture will provide fast and reliable air shipping solutions for time-sensitive goods, ensuring quick delivery across global markets, it said.

Marsa Ocean Shipping will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Middle East 2025. You can meet the team at the Dubai World Trade Center at stand R10.
