Breakbulk cargo to San Lorenzo
Project cargo firm Mercomar has delivered a cargo of power equipment from Zarate to San Lorenzo, Argentina.
The breakbulk cargo was loaded at Terminal Zarate, near the capital Buenos Aires, and discharged at Central Térmica San Lorenzo in Santa Fe province. The largest of the items were a generator weighing over 134 tonnes and a turbine weighing 182 tonnes.
“Transportation equipment used included hydraulic conventional modules, mechanic low-beds and semi-trailers,” a spokesperson for Mercomar said.
Mercomar is a member a member of the XL Projects network, which connects freight forwarders in more than 80 countries.
