Digital Marketplace Allows Users To Buy and Sell Worldwide
Online crane rental company MyCrane has launched a new digital platform to facilitate global sales and purchases of lifting equipment.
MyCrane Marketplace, unveiled in late-November at the bauma international trade fair in China, enables users to buy and sell used and new equipment such as mobile, crawler, tower and specialty cranes, as well as aerial work platforms.
Benefits include the provision of verified crane documentation, options to filter lifting equipment by age and condition and the ability to get inspection reports, MyCrane said. Fees are only applied once a sale has been completed.
The platform can also offer logistics and transportation services, facilitating the sales process all the way to final delivery at the customer’s project site anywhere in the world, as well as insurance and leasing to fund the purchase.
“Just as we’ve made crane rental easy and accessible for all, we now want to democratize the equipment sales process by supporting fast, global trading and providing access to a wide range of keenly priced equipment,” said Andrei Geikalo, founder and CEO of MyCrane.
“The MyCrane Marketplace is particularly valuable to individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), who will be empowered by the ability to source the right equipment at the right price – wherever they are, internationally. The goal is to streamline the buying process, increase transparency and choice, and create a robust trading platform for the benefit of the entire industry.”
Dubai-headquartered MyCrane boasts over 1,500 registered crane rental companies offering its users more than 12,000 cranes. The company is already well-established in highly active buying markets such as India and the Middle East.
Breakbulk Middle East 2025 is on 10-11 February at the Dubai World Trade Center.
