NTC Moves Record Turbine Blades
Freight carrier NTC Logistics has delivered a record shipment of wind turbine blades from India to Australia.
The 67.2-meter-long blades were transported from Kandla Port to Brisbane, Australia, aboard the breakbulk vessel Baltic Harmony. First-mile logistics were completed by road from Gujarat to Kandla port.
“The length of each blade … made them the longest in India. There were 15 sets of windmill blades, total of 45 in number,” an NTC spokesperson said.
Registered in Chennai, India, NTC Logistics is a member of the WCA Projects network, which connects freight forwarders and project cargo companies around the world.
