Origin Delivers Turkish Pressing Lines
Freight forwarder Origin Logistics has delivered 24 pieces of heavy cargo from South Korea and China to locations in Turkey.
The shipments included pressing lines and accessories weighing 1,334 tonnes in total and were loaded at the ports of Busan in South Korea and Shenzhen in China. The cargo was unloaded at Izmir and Gemlik ports and the largest items weighed 136 tonnes.
"From two different suppliers to four different buyers, the cargo was combined together in one single vessel. Our authorized surveyors observed all the steps on the field during the unloading and delivery operations which were made just in time,” said Metin Elmas, operations specialist at Origin Logistics.
Origin is a member of the Project Cargo network, which said fellow member Scandinavian Express recently completed its second year of a construction contract involving transport of more than 100,000 tonnes of breakbulk.
