PCYT Ships Fast Patrol Boats

Breakbulk firm Project Cargo & Yacht Transport has completed delivery of two fast patrol boats from Turkey to Qatar.

The shipment involved transport of one yacht weighing 225 tonnes and measuring 48 meters in length and a second which weighed 103 tonnes and measured 34 meters in length.

“The operation was on a water-to-water basis, which means that the patrol boats were lifted from the water onto the vessel,” a spokesperson for PCYT said.

Headquartered in Turkey, PCYT is a member of Netherlands-based cargo association Project Freight Network, which provides training and lead generation for breakbulk firms worldwide.
