Portmar Transports Cape Verde Cranes

Freight forwarder Portmar has delivered a shipment of mobile cranes from Germany to Cape Verde.

The consignment involved two all-terrain mobile cranes with 160-tonne capacity. Cargo was loaded as breakbulk at Antwerp in a multipurpose service and transported directly to Praia port.

“This equipment will be used by Cape Verde main ports to receive heavy/project cargoes,” a spokesperson for Portmar said.

With head office located in Lisbon, Portmar specializes in transportation of vehicles, heavy machinery and heavy static cargo.
