Stators and Rotors to Kaleshwaram
Transport provider Procam Logistics has delivered a set of stator and rotor for the world's largest lift irrigation project in the state of Telangana in southern India.
The consignment involved transport of 12 units measuring 7 meters long and 70.6 tonnes each. Logistics involved manoeuvring motors across three states and a distance of more than 850 kilometers to the client’s site in Kaleshwaram.
“The planning phase of the project included a meticulous survey of the route to accommodate the cargo's width and height and obtaining all the requisite statutory clearances to ensure a safe transit. It also entailed the preparation of a Journey Management Plan with all minute details paid attention to,” a spokesperson for Procam said.
Procam Logistics is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk and heavy-lift forwarders in more than 100 countries.
