Door-to-door Transport from Shanghai Met Challenges
Protranser, the China-based supplier of international air and sea freight services, recently delivered five generator sets from Shanghai port to Kolwezi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, via the port in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The cargo, valued at about US$3.7 million, were picked up from a factory in Yixing, Jingsu Province, in 13 containers and delivered to Shanghai. Protranser arranged the shipment to Dar es Salaam, and then to the jobsite.
“We overcame the challenge of shortage of space because of Covid-19, and delivered the cargo to our client in around 65 days door to door successfully,” said Leo Liu, marketing manager for Protranser, which has 10 regional offices throughout China.
