Ryan Agencies Boosts Wind Portfolio

XLProjects Member Completes Seven Projects in Pakistan’s Sindh Province

Pakistan-based logistics specialist Ryan Agencies has expanded its project portfolio after completing work on another seven wind energy projects with a combined capacity of 360 megawatts.

Ryan, a member of the XLProjects Network, said the scope of its work on the unnamed projects included import custom clearance, temporary storage and logistics operations for machinery and equipment pertaining to 180 sets of wind turbines.

All cargo was received under hook and delivered to multiple project sites located in Jhimpir in Pakistan’s southeast province of Sindh on hydraulic multi-axles and dedicated trailers after customs clearance had been completed.

“Considering the sensitivity of the cargo and project timeline, the Ryan operation team worked diligently round the clock to ensure safe and timely delivery without any issues,” the company said.

According to Ryan’s website, recently completed projects have included the 50-MW Liberty Wind Farm, the 60-MW Metro Wind Farm and the 50-MW Indus Wind Farm, all located in Sindh Province, one of Pakistan's most exciting regions for wind energy development.

Bangkok-based XLProjects Network was formed in October 2012. Its worldwide members are involved in breakbulk chartering, specialty handling, stevedoring, boat and yacht transfer and other project logistics activities.

XLProjects will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Americas 2023, taking place on 26-28 September at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. To find out how to reserve your tickets to the region’s premier event for breakbulk and project cargo, click on the tab below.
