Shipment from Israel
Cargo carrier Sigmai has transported a set of Demag mobile cranes from Israel to India.
The out-of-gauge units weighed 60 tonnes each and were accompanied by seven containers of accessories. All itmes were delivered for an Indian construction project and shipped as breakbulk aboarad a container vessel.
“Since breakbulk was loaded on a container liner vessel, special coordination was required such as: coordinating with pier to accept the cargo [and] agreeing with a carrier vessel planner on a specific loading platform,” a spokesperson for Sigmai said.
Headquartered in Holon, Israel, Sigmai is a member of the XL Projects network, a breakbulk association which connects prequalified carriers worldwide.
