Singapore Signs WFS Cargo Handling Contracts
Cargo carrier Singapore Airlines has signed contracts with logistics group Worldwide Flight Services for cargo handling in France and the UK.
The deals will see WFS provides handling services for Singapore Airlines’ daily Airbus A380 flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle and its twice-daily A380-800 services and twice-daily 777-300 operations via Heathrow.
“Singapore Airlines is highly respected for the quality of its cargo services, and WFS is delighted to be supporting this reputation through the expertise of our handling teams in France, the UK and at other stations in Europe and Scandinavia,” said Stéphane Scholving, director of cargo sales Europe at WFS.
WFS is one of the world’s largest air cargo handlers with operations at more than 145 major airports in 22 countries and throughput of more than 4 million tonnes of cargo per year.
