44 tonne Structure Relocated to Dallas
Freight forwarder Sino-MSL Lines has transported a stone statute from China to Texas.
The cargo consisted of a 12 packages, including a giant Buddhist stature weighing 44 tonnes and measuring eight meters in height. The consignment was delivered to a temple in Dallas, Texas on behalf of a Buddhist Monk.
“The buyer, who’s an experienced shipper … transported last year one other statue of a smaller size/weight to Florida ... MSL arranged [delivery] from Fujian Province to port of Shanghai with vessel Rickmers Line,” a spokesperson for Sino-MSL Lines said.
An affiliate of MSL Express, Sino-MSL Lines provides heavy-lift and breakbulk handling form the U.S. and is a member of the WCA project cargo association.
