(Asia) Eight Units from Shanghai
Logistics firm Star Shipping has transported a set of eight transformers from China to Pakistan.
The outsized shipment included four transformers weighing 108 tonnes each and four weighing 320 tonnes each. Cargo was loaded in Shanghai and delivered to Port Qasim, Pakistan.
“Scope of work included logistics supervision and full coordination of cargo [with] total volume of 12,746 cubic meters,” a Star Shipping spokesperson said.
Star Shipping is a member of industry association the Project Cargo Network, which connects companies focused on heavy-lift handling and transportation worldwide.
