(Oceania-Americas) EPC Work in Australia and Gulf of Mexico
Engineering and construction firm Subsea 7 has been awarded two offshore contracts, for work in Australia and the Gulf of Mexico.
The first contract, awarded by ConocoPhillips Australia Barossa, covers deliver of SURF scope for the Barossa Project, located 300 kilometers offshore Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. Valued at up to US$500 million the work is scheduled to occur in 2022.
The second contract covers subsea installation services in Green Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico, and is valued at up to US$300 million. It was awarded by Murphy Exploration and Production and includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of all subsea equipment.
Registered in Luxembourg, Subsea 7 predominantly focuses on serving the offshore energy industry and recently announced a reorganisation of its Renewables & Heavy Lifting business unit into four divisions: Seaway Heavy Lifting, Seaway Offshore Cables, Seaway Renewables North and Seaway Renewables South.
