Trans Global Projects (TGP) has been awarded a contract to provide end-to-end logistics services for a major hydrogen project in the Netherlands.

The contract calls for the transport of some 89,000 cubic meters of cargo, with operations slated to run through to April 2026. The project will involve 77 heavy-lift and out-of-gauge shipments including the delivery of a 390-ton CO2 absorber measuring 65.4 meters long.

The UK-headquartered project logistics specialist has already completed the first shipment under the contract, delivering 2,513 cubic meters of cargo from Vietnam to the Netherlands. The shipment of 111 items included skids, modules, boiler components and construction materials weighing a combined 546 tons.

A second consignment, currently en route from China, includes 6,690 cubic meters of cargo weighing 1,704 tons and comprising 235 items.

TGP is overseeing all aspects of logistics from ocean freight to last-mile delivery, highlighting its capabilities in handling complex, large-scale operations across multiple geographies, it said.

“We are honored to play a role in this innovative project, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pave the way for a sustainable energy transition,” TGP said. “Our teams are ready and equipped to handle the challenges ahead, ensuring that all project requirements are met with precision, efficiency and care.”

TGP will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Europe on 13-15 May in Rotterdam.
