Paper Factory Components from Finland
Cargo firm Tschudi Logistics has delivered several large pulp cookers from Finland to a paper factory in Belgium.
The cargo comprised six digester units weighing 72 tonnes each and measuring more than 20 meters long. Tschudi performed a door-to-door turnkey delivery, transporting the units via Hamina Port and Rotterdam, before completing the final leg by road through Belgium.
“A total of 40 vehicles drove simultaneously in one convoy through Belgium, with over ten different companies working in cooperation to ensure that it went smoothly. This is a true example of how important good coordination and reliable partners are in project logistics,” a spokesperson for Tschudi said.
Tschudi is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects small and medium-sized project freight forwarders worldwide.
