Buenos Aires Branch To Support Nation’s Growing Project Landscape

By Simon West
UTC Overseas has strengthened its footprint in the Americas, announcing the launch of UTC Project Argentina in Buenos Aires.
The new base will be headed by Gabriela Dulcic, an experienced executive with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex logistics operations, UTC said. Dulcic will report directly to Diana Davila, senior vice president of U.S. operations.
“Over the years, UTC Overseas has developed strong partnerships throughout Latin America and Central America, creating valuable opportunities for regional expansion with both existing clients and new prospects,” Davila said. “Combined with our deep expertise in the mining and energy sectors, we have a solid foundation for long-term success in Argentina and beyond.”
Regional operations will be supported by Pedro Widmann, UTC’s director of global project development.
“I have worked on projects in this region and understand the cultural nuances, regulations, and legal frameworks,” Widmann said. “With our strong knowledge base and expertise, UTC is well-positioned to support and capitalize on Argentina’s growing project landscape.”
Argentina has emerged in recent years as one of the region’s most exciting markets for breakbulk and project cargo.
As well as sitting on one of the world’s largest reserves of unconventional oil and gas, the South American nation also boasts massive lithium resources, forming part of the “Lithium Triangle” with Chile and Bolivia.
As long-term investment flows into energy, mining and infrastructure, demand is growing for specialized logistics and transport solutions to support complex projects, UTC said.
UTC Overseas will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Americas 2026.
