Freight forwarder Viking Project Logistics has transported an outsized vessel engine and accessories from India to Turkey.
The breakbulk consignment involved transport of a main engine body weighing more than 36 tonnes and 5 meters long. Cargo was loaded at Nhava Sheva port for shipment to Ambarli Port under the supervision of a team from Viking.
“Viking also took care of the unlashing and transfer with crane operations, and completed the final leg of delivery up to Tuzla,” a spokesperson for VPL said.
Headquartered in Istanbul, Viking Project Logistics is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents breakbulk operators worldwide.
