Breakbulk handler Voltrans Logistics has delivered 15 packages of wind tower flanges to a manufacturers site in Vietnam.
The longest package measured more than 6 meters long and the consignment required seven low-bed semi-trailers with full accessories in total. The breakbulk items were moved more than 70 kilometers by road to one of the big wind tower producers in Asia.
“Voltrans Logistics Vietnam team arranged smooth customs clearance,” a spokesperson for the firm said, noting that once finished the goods will be “exported to U.S., Canadian, and European markets.”
Based in Vietnam, Voltrans is a member of the XL Projects network, a breakbulk association representing independent project forwarding and chartering companies worldwide
