Prototype Armoring Conversion to UAE
Cargo carriers Wilhelmsen and Gruber Logistics have collaborated on the breakbulk transport of an armoring conversion security vehicle from Germany to the UAE.
The project involved route survey and full government approvals for the cargo following shipment aboard a direct freighter from Germany to the UAE. Upon completion of customs formalities, the partners arranged delivery of the vehicle to the client's facility.
“The shipment from Germany to the UAE consisted of the initial prototype of an armouring conversion security vehicle by air,” a spokesperson for Wilhelmsen UAE said.
Both firms are members of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, which comprises 231 ISO-certified heavy lift and project cargo specialists in more than 100 countries.
