W.I.S. Delivers Marghera Boilers

Logistics firm W.I.S. has delivered three outsized industrial boilers from Porto Marghera, Italy, to Kazakhstan.

Each boiler weighed 622 tonnes and measured 29 meters long, 15 meters wide and 11 meters high. The project involved detailed route survey analysis and installation of grillage upon arrival.

"Activities during this process included EXW pre-engineering works for all operations, including but not limited to: production of transport plans, progress reports, supervision and inspection of equipment, transportation arrangements, lifting, lashing and securing plans and all associated calculations and design,” a spokesperson for W.I.S said.

W.I.S. is a member of the Project Cargo Network, a breakbulk association, representing ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift specialists.
