Delivery via Port Vancouver
Cargo forwarder World Logistics Consulting has delivered a transformer set from South Korea to Canada.
The outsized cargo comprised a main body weighing 36.8 tonnes and measuring more than 5 meters long. It was loaded in Masan, South Korea, and shipped via Vancouver Port to the Harrison Lake Substation, near Trio Creek, Canada.
“The cargo [was] discharged from vessel onto heavy haulage trailer, moved to Harrison, barge transport to Trio Creek and offloaded via jack and slide,” a spokesperson for WLC said.
