Dismantled Batching Plant Delivered to India
Freight forwarder Worldlink Shipping has delivered a dismantled batching plant from Sri Lanka to India
The outsized consignment involved breakbulk components weighing between 25 and 50 tonnes and was transported from client’s site to the Port of Colombo by road. From there it was transshipped for delivery to Kolkata, India.
“Our chartering team managed to charter a bulk carrier within a short notice given by the shipper with a deadline for delivery of the cargo at FPD,” a Worldlink spokesperson explained.
Based in Sri Lanka, Worldlink Shipping is a member of the WCA breakbulk association which represents cargo operators in 88 countries.
