(Europe-Asia) Cross-dock Facility in Northampton
Japanese freight forwarding firm Yusen Logistics has commenced operations at a new distribution facility in in Northampton, UK.
The cross-dock breakbulk facility features 85,000 square feet of storage space and will act as a hub service for Yusen’s pallet network and white goods customers.
“[It] will provide an efficient and cost-effective solution to all customers who can now benefit from Yusen Logistics consolidated trunking service which is actively targeting the reduction of the number of vehicles on the road,” a spokesperson for Yusen said.
Yusen Logistics is a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate NYK Line, one of the largest shipping companies in the world and a member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
