(Americas) Restructuring Process Ongoing
Breakbulk shipping line Zeamarine has announced a restructuring program which will see the reinstatement of the Intermarine brand.
The brand was retired when German shipping group Zeaborn launched a joint venture with Intermarine owner Maritime Holdings in 2018. Media reports said Richard Seeg, former managing director of Zeamarine's Americas, would lead the new standalone Intermarine company.
The ownership structure of Intermarine is under review, as Zeamarine restructures, but the firm will continue to operate from its existing New Orleans and Houston offices for the foreseeable future.
Intermarine will operate a fleet of 10 ships that includes three A-type ships, four C-type ships, and the HC Opal and a further two new charters.
