Chief Logistics Leader GE Energy, Global Project Operations
Erik VandenBerg is currently the Chief Logistics Leader at GE Energy, Global Project Operations. Responsibilities include managing the planning and execution of Logistics delivery for new General Electric power stations worldwide. He helps identify key market levers impacting cost and define ways to remain cost and cycle competitive. Additionally, he is responsible for global training for the logistics execution teams to drive continuous improvement / lessons learned as GE continues to grow the logistics scope in existing and emerging markets.
Erik comes to GE Energy with extensive experience in the global distribution and transportation of Industrial products, power systems and related material. He worked for various freight forwarders and was self-employed for a time building log cabins.
Erik has a degree in Political Science. He lives with his family in upstate New York.
